Over 1,000 New Coastal Signs to Boost Navigation Safety on the Danube!

The Executive Agency for the Exploration and Maintenance of the Danube River has taken another important step towards increasing safety on the Danube River. Following a public procurement procedure, the agency has signed a contract for the supply of 1,020 coastal signs, which will be installed as part of the DISMAR project, funded under the Interreg VI-A Romania-Bulgaria Program.
The contract provides for the delivery of 528 unlit coastal signs, 472 kilometer signs, and 20 signs for coastal beacons, which will contribute to increased navigation safety.
The implementation period is 60 calendar days, and the contract value amounts to nearly 299,000 leva.
