What is the purpose?

Specific Objective: 2.4 - Promoting climate change adaptation and disaster risk prevention, resilience, taking into account ecosystem-based approaches

The overall objective is to enhance the region’s capacity to adapt to climate change through institutional collaboration, sustainable environmental interventions, and public engagement. By integrating real-time data collection with community-driven adaptation measures, the project aims to transform climate resilience from a fragmented effort into a coordinated and evidence-based process.

622.705,69 €, from which 498.164,54 € FEDR and 124.541,15 € National Contribution

What will happen?

  • Communication and visibility;
  • Afforestation activities by PP2;
  • Awareness campaign;
  • Elaboration of the Best Practice Guide;
  • The development of the Băilești Center for Climate Adaptation Collaboration;
  • Oryahovo Center for Climate Change Adaptation PP2.
