Clarification on Quality Audit of Works

The Managing Authority has issued a set of clarifications, which applies to projects involving construction works, regarding the quality audit of works performed under the Interreg VI-A Romania–Bulgaria Programme. The document provides practical guidance for project implementation and does not introduce new rules, but explains existing requirements.

The quality audit can be performed by:

1. External independent companies (via public procurement) or
2. Internal independent structures of the partners (ensuring objectivity).

Mandatory Status & Exceptions:

Including these costs is not mandatory for investments where national legislation does not require feasibility studies or technical design documentation.
