On September 30, the members of the Strategy Board met and made significant progress in implementing the Integrated Territorial Strategy, marking the completion of an essential stage.

Following the first call for concept notes launched this year, the members of the Strategy Board approved the evaluation results and decided to submit the list of project ideas proposed for funding to the Interreg VI-A Romania–Bulgaria Program.

The decision of the Strategy Board is particularly important because it brings the Integrated Territorial Strategy to a concrete level: clearly defined project ideas aligned with strategic priorities.

The project ideas proposed for funding include a wide range of investments designed to benefit both local communities in the Danube region and tourists exploring the cross-border region.

This list includes all submitted project ideas, ranked according to the evaluation results.

Subsequently, the list of project ideas will be analyzed and approved by the Programme’s Monitoring Committee, with the most relevant projects developing complete applications for funding. The estimated budget exceeds €50 million, allocated from the European Regional Development Fund, but also from the national contributions of Romania and Bulgaria.
