The second Romanian-Bulgarian Steering Committee within “STREAM 2” project took place between 19–20 November 2025!
The General Directorate for Civil Protection and Fire Safety organized, during 19–20 november 2025, the second Steering Committee meeting under activity 2.1.10, carried out within STREAM 2 project.
The project’s Steering Committee meeting brought together representatives of partner institutions from Romania and Bulgaria, including:
- General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations of Romania (project leader)
- General Directorate for Fire Safety and Civil Protection of the Republic of Bulgaria
- Giurgiu Territorial Inspectorate of the Border Police
- Academy of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Bulgaria
- National Association of Volunteers of the Republic of Bulgaria
Representatives of the Programme Managing Authority and the Joint Secretariat were also invited and participated in the event.
The meeting took place in the city of Veliko Tarnovo, with the purpose of reporting on project progress. The main points presented were the status of the public procurement procedures of each partner, the contracts signed, the expenditures incurred and submitted for verification or to be submitted, as well as the activities planned for the next reporting period. Discussions were held on various aspects related to project implementation.
