The Guidelines for Concept Notes

THE GUIDELINES FOR CONCEPT NOTES UNDER THE INTEGRATED TERRITORIAL STRATEGY FOR THE ROMANIA-BULGARIA CROSS-BORDER AREA HAS BEEN APPROVED BY THE STRATEGY BOARD AND IS NOW PUBLISHED; THE PERIOD FOR SUBMITTING CONCEPT NOTES IS 15.01.2025 – 04.03.2025

We would like to inform you that starting with today, 30^th of December 2024, the Guidelines for Concept Notes under the Integrated Territorial Strategy for the Romania-Bulgaria cross-border area is available for applicants!

The call will be launched on 15^th of January 2025 and the deadline for submitting the concept notes is 04^th of March 2025, 13:00 EET!

The document aims to guide future applicants in identifying and submitting project ideas contributing to the Integrated Territorial Strategy (ITS) objective. The strategy objective is to create economic growth and social attractiveness through enhancing sustainable tourism, with a strong cycling dimension, by boosting tourism and culture heritage, interlinked with all related socioeconomic fields, such as tourism and culture infrastructure, environment, human resources and education system, accessibility etc. The backbone of the strategy, integrating all these fields, is the development of the Euro Velo 6 Route. The ITS is available at https://interregviarobg.eu/en/its-1.

The ITS is the main document for the implementation of Policy Objective 5, under Interreg VI-A Romania-Bulgaria Programme (Priority 4), for a well-defined geographical area (along and connected to the EuroVelo6 cycling route).

The present call is open to Concept Notes financed from Priority 4 (An Integrated Region) of the Interreg VI-A Romania-Bulgaria Programme or from other financing sources / Programmes.

The budget for the present call, financed from Interreg VI-A Romania Bulgaria Programme, is 56.250.000 Euro, including the national and own contribution, fully dedicated to the implementation of the ITS projects.
