Signing of the Contract for the Supply of Coastal Signals and Kilometer Markers under the DISMAR Project

On October 28, 2024, the Lower Danube River Administration Galați signed a new contract under the DISMAR project, aimed at procuring coastal signals and kilometer markers for the modernization of the navigable channel signalling system on the Danube. The contract was signed with LEMINGS SRL.
Through this purchase, 452 kilometer markers and 528 coastal signals will be delivered, contributing to increased navigation safety and the prevention of grounding and collision risks in the project’s target area.
The total value of the contract is 758,439 RON, plus VAT amounting to 144,103 RON.
The contract enters into force on the date of signature by both parties and its registration at the AFDJ headquarters, and delivery will be completed within a maximum of three months.
This stage represents an important step towards achieving the objectives of the DISMAR project and improving river infrastructure on the stretch of the Danube shared by Romania and Bulgaria.
