PROMoting IncluSivE and Quality Education through Technology, Leadership and Sport - Hard ( PROMISE-Hard - ROBG00299 )

What is the purpose?

Specific Objective: 4.2 - Improving equal access to inclusive and quality services in education, training and lifelong learning through developing accessible infrastructure, including by fostering resilience for distance and on-line education and training

The project aims to increase the graduates' competences and skills, making them more attractive on the Labour Market and implicitly to improve their employability in the RO-BG cross-border region. The general objective of the project is increasing the quality of professional training for students and graduates from Romania and Bulgaria through relevant training activities (5 courses, 6 summer schools), exchange of good practices and two investments in infrastructure for education and sport.

1.327.528,12 €, from which 1.062.022,49 € FEDR and 265.505,63 € National Contribution

Status

             On 19.09.2025, the Project Steering Group held its first meeting (10 participants), organized by the University of Craiova;

             On 15.10.2025, the launch conference for the PROMISE-Hard project, organized by the Lead Partner – University of Craiova, was held in Romania, with 25 people attending the event, including 19 from the University of Craiova, 5 from D.A.Tsenov University in Svishtov, and 1 from the Engage in Education Association;

             On 19.10.2025, a conference to launch the project was also held in the D.A. Tsenov Academy of Economics conference room in Svishtov, Bulgaria, with 25 participants;

             The project website was created, along with associated Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/promise.hard.2025) and Instagram pages (https://www.instagram.com/projectpromise2025/). The website is available in Romanian, Bulgarian, and English: https://robgpromise.ucv.ro

             The methodology (RO, BG, EN) for selecting the target group, including the documents required for enrollment, was developed;

             The recruitment announcement was posted on the project website and on social media, and at the entrance of the rooms where the project documents are stored at each university;

             Every course and summer school's curriculum has been decided;

             Five protocols/memorandums were signed with five NGOs from the cross-border area (4 from Romania, 1 from Bulgaria). Discussions between partners were held to identify NGOs to support the activities from this project (job fairs, workshops).
