What is the purpose?
Specific Objective: 4.2 - Improving equal access to inclusive and quality services in education, training and lifelong learning through developing accessible infrastructure, including by fostering resilience for distance and on-line education and training
The overall objective of the project is to ensure quality academic training for students from Romania and Bulgaria through joint learning, exchange of best practices, knowledge of common history and ensuring sustainable development through the development of the skills needed on the labor market. The project will develop the educational infrastructure of two universities (the University of Craiova and the University of Veliko Tarnovo).

1.025.122,19 €, from which 820.097,74 € FEDR and 205.024,45 € National Contribution

What will happen?
- Creation of purchase documentation;
- Signing purchase contracts and putting the equipment into operation;
- Conducting training courses, for students from Romania and Bulgaria, in the field of the English language and the skills necessary to use new technologies;
- A network of a minimum of 20 NGOs, education providers, firms, companies, public institutions;
- Job fair in Veliko tarnovo;
- Job Fair in Craiova;
- Small businesses/family businesses in the RO-BG cross border area - Workshop;

Status
The project is currently in implementation.
The following project activities started during the current period of reporting:
- Creation of purchase documentation – within the first reporting period, the Lead Partner completed the execution of the activity by developing the necessary study plans for Conducting training courses, for students from Romania and Bulgaria, in the field of the English language and the skills necessary to use new technologies;
- Promotion materials were produced by the partners, in English, Romanian and Bulgarian and were used by all three partners;
- In November 2025, the launch conference of the project was organized in Craiova with participations of representatives of the University of Craiova and Engage in Education association. The representatives of the University of Veliko Tarnovo were present online in the meeting. Regional and local press attended the event. Press releases were published on the websites of the University of Craiova and on social media.
