What is the purpose?
Specific Objective: 2.7 - Enhancing protection and preservation of nature, biodiversity and green infrastructure, including in urban areas, and reducing all forms of pollution
Increasing the quality of life of the residents in cross-border area by implementing actions to enhance the protection and preservation of nature, biodiversity and green infrastructure in urban areas, reducing all forms of pollution.
Dobrich modernizes 8 areas located in different parts of the city, while Medgidia rehabilitates and modernize park 1 Mai, the main park of the municipality.

3.340.274,04 €, from which 2.672.219,22 € FEDR and 668.054,82 € National Contribution

Status
The project is currently under implementation. The project partners reported the following activities:
- On 28.04.2025, LP signed the service contract for technical documentation and technical assistance;
- On 22.05.2025, it was organized the joint opening press conference in Dobrich, which was attended by representatives from the municipalities of Medgidia and Dobrich.
- On 17.06.2025, LP signed the service contract for Technical Project verification;
- On 03.09.2025, LP obtained the building permit for the modernization of 1 Mai park;
- On 14.11.2025, LP received the revised Technical Project for the rehabilitation and modernization of 1 Mai Park;
- On 14.11.2025, LP signed the service contract for information and publicity services within the project;
- On 22.12.2025, LP launched the procurement procedure for the works contract;
On 07.04.2026, PP2 launched the procurement procedure of the specialized equipment for the maintenance of green spaces.
