DISMAR project took part at the event “Interreg 35 years in Romania”!
Between 12–13 November 2025, the event “Interreg 35 Years – Interreg in Romania” took place at the Palace of Parliament, organized by the National Authority for Interreg Programmes within the Ministry of Development, Public Works and Administration.
The event, which brought together more than 250 participants from partner organizations, public institutions, and the Interreg community across Romania and Europe, also celebrated 18 years of Interreg in Romania and was dedicated to showcasing project achievements and the significant contribution that cross-border cooperation makes to regional development.
The Danube Integrated System for MARking (DISMAR) project, one of the flagship strategic initiatives financed by the Interreg VI-A Romania–Bulgaria Programme, was among the projects highlighted at the event.
Represented by the Lead Partner – River Administration of the Lower Danube, Galați – DISMAR showcased how the project is transforming Danube navigation with modern, sustainable solutions such as GPS-based positioning systems and eco-friendly equipment.
