Closure of the Cross-border Cooperation Programme Romania–Bulgaria 2007–2013

The European Commission has finalized all operations related to the closure of the Cross-border Cooperation Programme Romania–Bulgaria 2007–2013! Together, we transformed the vision of cooperation into concrete actions and sustainable results. We hope that the experience gained will continue to inspire and strengthen cross-border cooperation along the Romanian–Bulgarian border. 

Beneficiaries are obliged to retain all project-related documentation, as required by Article 90 of Regulation (EC) No 1083/2006 and Article 12, paragraph 5 of the subsidy contracts signed under the Programme for a period of 3 years, starting with date of 31 July 2025. Beneficiaries must ensure that the project archives (including all original supporting documents) are maintain in good condition and remain available throughout this period.
