EnviroConnect: Synergizing Green Resilience Efforts in Ivanovo and Piatra Olt ( EnviroConnect - ROBG00146 )
What is the purpose?
Specific Objective: 2.7 - Enhancing protection and preservation of nature, biodiversity and green infrastructure, including in urban areas, and reducing all forms of pollution
EnviroConnect is a cross-border project focused on enhancing the protection and preservation of nature, biodiversity, and green infrastructure within the program area. In Municipality Ivanovo, Bulgaria, the project aims to enhance and improve the green infrastructure in four specific areas: South Park - Shtraklevo, Ecopark - Shtraklevo, Memorial Park - Shtraklevo and Pirgovo Park - Pirgovo. In TAU - Piatra-Olt, Romania, the green infrastructure will be develop in Bistrita Noua Village and Enosesti Village.

3.262.618,48 €, from which 2.610.094,78 € FEDR and 652.523,70 € National Contribution

Status
The project implementation team on behalf of both partners have been established
A meeting for creation of Project Steering Group (PSG) was held via Skype on 30.12.2024;
Contract no. D-47/25.02.2025 was concluded for the preparation of a technical investment project for the four parks. The technical projects were received on 27.05.2025;

PP2 signed on 13.03.2025 the contract for the services of developing the technical project and technical assistance for the investment objective Enosești theme park. The technical project was received on 16.05.2025;
PP2 signed on 13.03.2025 the contract for the services of technical design for the investment objective Bistrița Nouă park. The technical project was received on 16.05.2025;
PP2 signed on 25.02.2025 the contract for the services of consulting in project management;
LP signed on 04.07.2025 with Nakisa Consult Ltd., Burgas, was concluded for the contract for the preparation of an Assessment Report of the Compliance of the investment project with the essential requirements for construction works. The report was received on 21.07.2025;
On 08.05.2025, the Lead Partner organized the joint project opening conference in the Municipality of Ivanovo;
The Communication Plan was developed by both project partners;
The Lead Partner, the Municipality of Ivanovo, successfully signed four construction works contracts for the 4 parks and one contract for legal services in December 2025. The work start order was issued in December 2025, thus marking the beginning of the physical implementation phase;
Partner 2, the City of Piatra Olt, signed the contracts for the execution of the works for the two parks. The work start order was issued in January 2026, ensuring compliance with the approved technical documentation.
