The stakeholders’ consultation on the development of the Integrated Territorial Strategy for the development of the Romania-Bulgaria cross-border area is in full swing!

In the next period, four ONLINE meetings will take place, as follows:

1. Focus group for discussing the analysis of the cross-border territory and main areas of interest - 7 March / 10:00-12:00 (registration until 06.03.2023);
2. Focus group for definition of the specific geographical area (western part of the cross-border territory) - 10 March / 10:00-12:00 (registration until 09.03.2023);
3. Focus group for definition of the specific geographical area (eastern part of the cross-border territory) - 10 March / 12:30-14:30 (registration until 09.03.2023);
4. Focus group for validation of specific geographical area - 15 March / 10:00-12:00 (registration until 14.03.2023).

The goal of the meetings is to identify the specific geographical area in Romania and Bulgaria along and connected to the EuroVelo 6 cycling route, that will be covered by the Integrated Territorial Strategy.

The consultation activities are organized by CIVITTA Strategy & Consulting, as part of the service contract for the „Elaboration of the Integrated Territorial Strategy for the Development of the Romania-Bulgaria Cross-border Area” concluded with the Cross-Border Cooperation Regional Office Călărași for the Romania-Bulgaria border (BRCT Călărași). The development of the Integrated Territorial Strategy for the Development of the Romania-Bulgaria Cross-border Area is financed from Policy Objective 5 - "A Europe closer to citizens", selected within the INTERREG VI-A Romania-Bulgaria Programme 2021-2027.
